Reading has always been a favorite past time of mine. When I became a mom, I shifted from romance and thrillers to board books and picture books. And since I've become an author, I cannot get enough of either!
I am amazed and impressed at how many wonderful books are out there both by traditionally published and self-published authors.
Over time, I have read, collected, and wrote book reviews on so many picture books! And the number of diverse books has been increasing which is great!
As an author, I have had the privilege to connect with many other authors who are trying to tell their own personal story or the stories of people who inspire them or simply bring to life characters that resemble them and their families. That's what I did: wrote about people that inspire me and who I believe can inspire the younger generation.
